FAQ
1) What’s the difference between mechanical, thermal, and hydraulic breaching?
Mechanical uses leverage and impact (see Breaching Tools). Thermal uses hot-cut tools like BreachPen G2 for locks/bars. Hydraulic multiplies force for fortified frames and doors. Choose based on door construction, time, noise, and collateral needs.
2) How do your Quick-Release (QR) upgrades work on plate carriers?
They replace noisy hook-and-loop with fast, under-flap releases using FIRSTSPEAR TUBES® or polymer/metal buckles. Start with TUBES Attachment Kit or Polymer QR Kit, and pair with the Low-Pro QR Cummerbund (Twin Velcro).
3) Which ladder should a small team carry for second-story access?
The Telescopic Tactical Ladder extends to 12.5′ (16′ reach), Type 1A (300 lb), ~26 lb carry. It collapses to ~32″ for vehicles and tight storage.
4) Do you offer medical kits and refills for belt/MOLLE carry?
Yes. Explore our Medical Gear for IFAKs, tourniquets & holders, and compact resupply.
5) What’s a good way to control doors once opened?
Carry Wedge-It Door Wedges for top, hinge-pin, or floor placements to hold a 90° opening.
6) How do I stage tools for faster grabs on my carrier?
Use TACMAG Gen 3 for magnetic “third-hand” staging and elastic cells on Low-Pro QR Cummerbunds.
7) Where can I find fire suppression options for vehicles?
See Fire Suppression for MK-series aerosols, rigid cases, and brackets.
8) Do you have breaching packs or full entry kits?
Yes. Start with the Collapsible Breaching Tool Kit or the Mechanical Tool Breaching Pack for ready-to-deploy sets.
9) Do product pages include specs and compatibility notes?
Yes—each product details size/weight, materials, ratings, compatibility, and recommended companion gear (with internal links).
