Mercury-9™ is a multi-purpose beacon providing Infrared and Visible Marking in one compact package. Powered by a single AA Alkaline, Lithium or Rechargeable battery, the Mercury-9 delivers Flashing and Constant ON Infrared signalling as well as Flashing visible Green or White signal in either a High or Low power mode. The beacon can be mounted to Loop Velcro surfaces such as helmets or packs with its included flex mount or integrated directly into PALLS webbing or belts using the integrated spring clip. Developed from the Cejay Pegasus -9™ beacon, the Mercury-9™ provides both visible and infrared marking at two different power levels. Powered by a single AA Alkaline, Lithium or Rechargeable battery, the Mercury-9™ is available in an Infrared and White version (902920IRW) or Infrared and Green version (902920IRG).
Signal operation is controlled by two large side mounted three-position slide switches that can easily be operated by gloved hands. The Mercury-9 also includes a low power indicator alerting the user when it is time to replace the battery.
The Mercury-9™ includes an integrated locking clip for positive attachment to PALS webbing or belts. A FlexMount is included for attaching the Mercury to helmets or flat surfaces with included Hook and Loop Velcro. Mercury-9™ high impact plastic housing and sealed electronics are engineered to withstand harsh environments as well as chemical exposure.
