This is the Gen 1 Spartan XL carrier. We value our customers opinions and suggestions, from all the recommendations we've had for the next plate carrier design, we came up with a Sentinel Legion XL Plate Carrier that is fully adjustable from a 2XL-4XL. It will hold our Steel Core AR500 Omega, and AR550 11x14 body armor plates true to form. You also have the option to add in 6x6 or 6x8 side plates. If you don't want to run with the cummerbund no problem! The cummerbund is completely removable to run your plate carrier with just front and back plates or the full set up with side plates. User friendly.

NOTE: This plate carrier CAN accept 6"x8" side plates. There is a flap of Velcro inside each side plate pocket that must be flipped vertically to allow for 6"x8" side plates!
