The BreachPen Breach Box is an all-in-one kit that contains all the items you'd need to successfully deploy and use the BreachPen thermal cutting tools safely and successfully. The Breach Box contains a customizable selection of PPE gear, BDS40 fire suppression agent, mechanical pry tools, additional thermite matches, and of course multiple BreachPen tools. The rugged pelican style case allows safe storage for all contents in one secure spot.
The BreachPen is an autonomous thermal cutting tool that allows rapid cutting capabilities when other tool options may not be accessible or an option. The BreachPen has a self-storing thermite match on the opposite end of the rod that is secured by a tether to the end cap. Each unit burns for approximately 23-25 seconds at around 5,000 degrees F. This tool allows a cutting depth of 1.5 - 2.0" when used in the correct manner. Breachpens are recommended to be replaced every two years from purchase date.
The pry bar options are ideal for gaining leverage on certain cuts and obtaining or securing tension on certain objects to allow the BreachPen to articulate the correct angle on the target. The Falcon Schivv tool as well as the Broco Jimmy Pry tool are both exceptional options at a low price point for adding to your kit.
BDS40 fire suppression tools are a must have for any type of thermal or exothermic applications for secondary fire scenarios, cooling down hot slag and hot surfaces. With the Breach Box we have the option to add a single MK9 BDS40 or a dual pack of MK5 units to your kit.
PPE hand and eye protection is also a must have when using the BreachPen tools. We offer a sleek pair of shade 5.0 OSHA style glasses that allows clear vision and on-target capabilities once the tool has been ignited. The FR PIG FDT Alpha fire retardant gloves we offer are comfortable and allows pin-point grip style while articulating the tools in this kit, all while providing the proper safety to your body.
BurnTec Burn Dressings can be easily added to the order in a 5 x 5 size for any type of mishaps that may come about in the event things get a little too spicy when using the product. It's always a good thing to have on hand using any type of thermal cutting tools!
Snap style red glow sticks come default in the kit in the event you are searching through the kit in the dark. We chose red chem lights for the simple low light capability.
